Rostyslav Oreshko is a lecturer in Anatolian languages and cultures at Institut des langues rares of the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. His research focuses on epigraphy, linguistics, and history of the first millennium in Anatolia and the Aegean, especially Phrygia and Lydia. He is currently involved in epigraphical work at Sardis and Gordion, and is the author of the forthcoming monograph Language, Culture and Society in Achaemenid Lydia. New Discoveries and Old Problems of the Lydian Epigraphical Corpus (Sardis Monographs Series) (Harvard 2025).
