David Gagoshidze is a Doctor of Archaeology (2025) and a researcher at the Tamaz Beradze Institute of Georgian Studies at the University of Georgia. His work focuses on the archaeology of Georgia in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. He directs the Dedoplis Gora Archaeological Expedition and is an invited lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
