Sarah C. Murray is an assistant professor of classics at the University of Toronto. She received a PhD in classics from Stanford University in 2013. Her research is focused on the archaeology of the Aegean Late Bronze and Early Iron Ages, the development of economic and cultural institutions in early Greece, and methods and interpretation in survey archaeology. She is co-director of the Bays of East Attica Regional Survey (BEARS), centered on the bay of Porto Rafti in Greece.
