Leopoldo Repola is researcher in the Department of Humanities at Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and an expert in digital technologies for the survey and representation of archaeological sites and ancient monuments on land and underwater. Since 2000 he has been undertaking research into the role of digital technologies in architectural design processes. Currently he is engaged in studies of ancient architecture and historic buildings, the development of innovative systems for exhibition design, and the creation of immersive spaces and new methodologies for the reception of cultural heritage.
