Dinçer Savaş Lenger is associate professor in the Department of History at Akdeniz University. He received his Ph.D. in Ancient History and Civilisation from Université Paris-Sorbonne in 2009. His main research area is Greek coins, focused on Hellenistic period numismatics. His area of research also includes cultural anthropological approaches to the different usages of coins.
