Lee Ann Riccardi is Professor Emerita of Art History and Classical Studies at The College of New Jersey. She received her BA and MA in Art History at Ohio State University and her PhD from Boston University. A specialist in Roman portraiture, she focuses on how imperial images were crafted and perceived across the empire’s diverse provinces, bridging numismatics, sculpture, and visual propaganda.
