Shannon LaFayette Hogue is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Classics and Modern Languages at Xavier University. She has a B.A. in classical archaeology and anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an M.A. in classical archaeology from Tufts University, and a Ph.D. in Aegean Prehistory from the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include Mycenaean palatial architecture and the impact of site destructions and landscape change on regional cultural memory. She is also the field school manager of the Kea Archaeological Research Survey.
