Lindsey Mazurek is an assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Oregon. She received her B.A. in classical languages from UC Berkeley and her M.A. and Ph.D. in art history from Duke University. Her research focuses on questions of ethnicity, migration, materiality, and identification in the Roman Empire. She also codirects the Ostia Connectivity Project, a digital archaeology and social history project that reconstructs potential social groupings and their participation in the urban fabric of Rome's main port city of Ostia.
