Vasiliki Saripanidi is Scientific Collaborator at the Université libre de Bruxelles. She holds an M.A. in Classics from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specializes in the Archaic and Classical Greek world, particularly in its northern fringes. Her research focuses on sociopolitical structures, social identities, and cross-cultural interactions within the broader Mediterranean region. She has participated in excavation projects in Macedonia, Epirus, and Crete and has been in charge of the publication of ceramic assemblages from various sites (e.g., from Sindos and Karabournaki, in Thessaloniki).
