Caitlin Chien Clerkin is a Ph.D. candidate in the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology at the University of Michigan, from which she received a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies. Her dissertation, Seleucid and Early Parthian Seleucia-on-the-Tigris, Revisited, focuses on the results, archive, and museum afterlife of the University of Michigan's 1927–1937 excavations of Seleucia-on-the Tigris (Iraq).
