Nicolas Delferrière

Nicolas Delferrière is a contract lecturer of ancient art history and archaeology at the Université Clermont Auvergne (France) since 2023 and is currently finishing his dissertation in Roman archaeology at the Université Jean Jaurès in Toulouse (France). His research focuses on decoration (wall paintings, mosaics, stuccos, and marble veneers) in Roman Gaul (central-eastern Gaul), as well as the polychromy of Gallo-Roman statuary and architecture.
