Brunilde S. Ridgway is Rhys Carpenter Professor Emerita of Classical and Near Eastern archaeology at Bryn Mawr College. She has doctorates in humanities (Messina University) and archaeology (Bryn Mawr College). She is author of numerous books and articles, and she was the 2006 recipient of the Henry Allan Moe Prize in the Humanities from American Philosophical Society for her paper “The Study of Greek Sculpture in the Twenty-First Century.”
Ridgway was Editor-in-Chief of the AJA from 1978 to 1985.
