Susan Wood is professor of art history at Oakland University in Michigan. She is the author of two books on Roman portraiture and has written a number of articles on Roman sculpture and minor arts. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Bryn Mawr College and her master’s degree and Ph.D. at Columbia University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome.
