Claudia Cecamore has a degree in Ancient Topography and a Ph.D. in Classical Archaeology. She has extensive excavation experience, especially in Rome, and has studied the development of the Palatine through literary and documentary sources. She has participated in the creation, management, and teaching of a post-graduate course, Architecture for Archaeology, organized by the Departments of Architecture and Ancient Studies at the University of Rome, La Sapienza. She also teaches Museology for the Department of Ancient Studies. Since 2017 she has been the curator at the Museo della Civiltà Romana where she is overseeing the project for its upcoming reopening.
