Diana Rodríguez Pérez is currently on an administrative position as Project Support Coordinator for European Commission (EC) Research Projects at the University of Oxford, having spent the 2023–2024 academic year working at the University of Edinburgh as a Teaching and Research Fellow in Greek Art and Archaeology. Prior to this, she held research and teaching positions and fellowships at Oxford (Beazley Archive/CARC, Wolfson College), Cincinnati, Edinburgh, Heidelberg, and León (Spain). Her field of expertise is the art and archaeology of the classical world, with an emphasis on the study of Greek material culture, in particular pottery, and its role in cross-cultural interactions in the western Mediterranean. Other areas of expertise are the study of iconography and animal representation in Greek art, artistic representation vs. lived realities, and the historiography of Athenian vase painting.
