Bas Beaujean is an archaeologist specializing in Hellenistic and Roman urbanism in Anatolia. Drawing on memory theories, socioecological approaches, and digital methods, he examines how cities developed within their local landscapes, histories, and political-geographic realities. He has excavated extensively at Sagalassos in southwestern Türkiye and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven (Belgium).
