Erika Weiberg

Erika Weiberg is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History, Uppsala University. She has a Ph.D. in classical archaeology and ancient history from Uppsala University. Her 2007 dissertation was titled “Thinking the Bronze Age: Life and Death in Early Helladic Greece.” She has continued to work on various social and cognitive aspects of prehistoric life on the Greek mainland. Her current research is funded by the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) and focuses on periods of intensified societal transformation in the Aegean Bronze Age, framed within current theories on resilience and the sustainability of past and present societies.
