Alessandro Sebastiani is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Classics at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). His research involves understanding late Etruscan to medieval landscapes in south Tuscany, with a particular attention to transitional periods. He directs the IMPERO Project with excavations at Podere Cannicci, Castellaraccio di Monteverdi, and Rusellae.
