Nicholas G. Blackwell (Ph.D., Bryn Mawr College) is an assistant professor of Classical Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, and previously served as the Assistant Director of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. His research focuses on the archaeology of the Bronze Age Aegean and eastern Mediterranean. In particular, he explores stoneworking, palatial architecture, metal tools, metallurgy, intercultural relations, and diplomacy in his scholarship.
